Commander of the Fifth Fleet visits Bahrain Center for International Mobility

A delegation headed by the Commander of the Fifth Fleet, Commander of the US Naval Forces, Lieutenant-General Charles Bradford Cooper, visited the Bahrain Mobility International Center to learn about the experience of civil society organizations in Bahrain to serve people with disabilities and what the center's work includes in terms of education, training, physical therapy, general activities and rehabilitation, and volunteer work carried out by members Center for the service of people with disabilities and their families.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Center for International Mobility, Adel Sultan Al-Mutawa, and members of the center received the delegation headed by the Commander of the Fifth Fleet, who visited the center’s facilities and the integrated services it contains for people with disabilities.

 


Adel Al-Mutawa said that the commander of the Fifth Fleet presented a number of proposals and ideas to develop the center and its facilities to increase the effectiveness of providing services in it, noting that he expressed his continuous willingness to serve people with disabilities in the context of community service with a group of soldiers who are looking forward to volunteer work with the center.
