The Bahraini Center for International Mobility praised the facilities provided by the Bahrain team to people with disabilities in providing health services, examining the Corona virus, providing vaccinations, taking into account their health conditions and overcoming obstacles in front of them in order to protect them from the Corona pandemic. Ensuring the vaccination of the largest percentage of the elderly and people with disabilities is among the main goals that the Bahrain team seeks to limit the spread of the Corona virus.
He emphasized that the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the decisions of the Coordination Committee contribute positively to reducing the number of cases and urging adherence to precautionary measures so that Bahrain overcomes this pandemic with the least possible impact on society.
Adel Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Center for International Mobility, said that community initiatives in spreading the culture of vaccination and facilitating it for people with disabilities confirm the great awareness of the need to support this important group of society in all ways.
He praised the initiative of the Northern Governorate and its cooperation with the Ministry of Health in providing a site for the elderly and people with disabilities in support of the national vaccination campaign to combat the Corona virus in order to reach community immunity.
He called for the repetition of this positive initiative in all governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain to allow people with disabilities and the elderly to obtain vaccinations in suitable sites equipped for wheelchairs and where infrastructures are available to suit all types of disabilities, in addition to what is provided in health centers that attract everyone.
